Taiguey and hi to all,

I recently bought kind of a watercolor workbook, which includes sketches of the author's original art and instructions on how the author did the painting (just in case you want to follow). In the copyright notice it says:
"The designs in this book are protected by copyright; however, you may make the designs for your personal use or to sell for pin money."

Does anyone know what it means by "sell for pin money".

As always I appreciate your input.

here's what i found online. apparently it isn't some fancy art business term after all. i hope this helps!

pin money

Small amounts of money for incidental expenses, as in Grandma usually gives the children some pin money whenever she visits. This expression originally signified money given by a husband to his wife for small personal expenditures such as pins, which were very costly items in centuries past.

i certainly hope you can sell yours for a little bit more than "pin money"!!!!:)
