Here's one I did...

back in 1988. It was kind of an abandoned piece. It's acrylic on stretched canvas 24" x 36".

I was sitting at home on a Friday night and all my friends were either out of town or on dates and I was pretty bored. Noticed I had this unused canvas laying around so I pulled out the paints and whipped this one out.

WOW DR I really like this. Love the monochromatic. She feels like the snow queen to me. I also love how you posted the close ups. Gave me the feeling she was getting closer and closer to me.

I guess I had no real idea where I was really going with the painting, so I just stopped. And for what ever reason, that was the last time I picked up a brush until late 2000. Guess I just got busy with other things (girlfriends, friends, jobs, college, etc).

I'll probably leave it 'as is.':)

This looks finished to me. I somehow feel that the ethereal quality would be lost if anymore was done to the painting. It is like a lingering dream.
