...who can't spell "fledgling" and is too lazy to use the dictionary.

I posted in the newbie forum and someone said I should come here, so here I am! Um. Have an elfwood gallery (elfwood.lysator.liu.se/loth/b/o/borealis/borealis.html) but my more recent pics are floating around on my website. Once is too animeish for here, I think, but I have a half-finished fuzzy dragon I'm wondering aboot::

... to WC and to the Fantasy/ Sci-Fi Art channel!

Lovely sketch - you seem to have quite an eye for texture, detail and contours. What medium do you work in?

Thanks for the compliments and the welcomes! =) I work mostly in (mechanical) pencil because it is easier and more convenient (whip out the paper pad and the lead, pencil, erasers, smudgers, duster) as opposed to my favourite medium, oil paints (dig through the art supply box, get oil colours, get brushes, laquer thinner, gesso, canvas, easle, clear off bed, hope I don't drop too much paint everywhere, explain to roomate why the room smells so interesting, try not to light matches for next 2 days.....) :p I'm trying to make a picture that is epi-quality (epilogue.net for those who aren't familiar). Or that's my short term goal anyway. I'd really like to get better at illustrating and drawing/painting because.. well.. that's what I'd like to do. I really don't want to have to resort to my "practical" back-up major! :D

:cat: hee. cute kitty...

I've tried dragon western-style dragons but I suck at it. I can really only do oriental-style dragons... But that's fine because I like the fuzzy feathery maned oriental dragons =^_^= So. Think I could make it as an illustrator?? =D

This is so cool, I really like the detail you've put into the fur and I like the way you've drawn the eyes:D
