I am a One Stroke certified instructor and am very interessted in taking classes in how to paint wall murals in acrylics. I am taking a mural class at the Finishing School in NYC next week, but I would like to take more classes

I could be mistaken, but I think it has something to do with One-Stroke brand sign painting enamels. I was unaware that there might be such a certification. Please elaborate at your leisure, alexis.

I had thought acrylics were the default medium for modern murals. The first fine artists to make use of acrylics were Mexican muralists in the early 1950s (and maybe the late '40s) seeking a more durable outdoor paint. I'd like to know what sort of surface prep and sealing one has to do to make an outdoor painting survive the elements. I haven't happened upon that tidbit just yet.
