Nice little buro. The first time I've ever seen a single portrait of these charming creatures. Nice painterly treatment.
You may like to take a look at the way you captured the spreading of the ears compared to the uppermost clouds. The same shape is emulated.

Sumafra in "Burro Country" the stillness is often fractured by the God-awful braying of the ass. The old timers will tell you that it was the song of the Desert Canary.
