Great Rhino, Sandra...and like your yellow and red picture, Robin....But what happened to all the other images? Same in some of the other threads
Can't have a photo Paint-a=long with no photos.

I love that eye in your animal drawing...Sandra. Love the red and yellow Robin!
It seems there's been a glitch with some of the attachments. Don't know if its being fixed...
We may have to reload the pix that are missing.
08-22-2010, 11:30 AM
The pics appeared again and then disappeared...most strange!
08-22-2010, 12:02 PM
Robin, what a very clever rendition, only yellow and red. You, Janet and June constantly amaze me with your color combos. Yeah, I can't see the photos either. Let me see if I could upload them. I've saved them somewhere.
08-22-2010, 10:29 PM
okay, I moved the photos back up to the opening of the thread.
08-29-2010, 01:15 PM
Had to quick copy the photos before they disappeared again
Finally slipped one in before the end of month. I've been in a real slump.

Thank you Mrs Parsnip...you encourage me. I usually don't do men too well, but these guys seemed to come out OK. :)

I agree with MS parsnip. A terrific work...men are difficult I think...these chaps came out great!

A pencil sketch of the ostrich photo...done this morning. 6 by 8 ins.
I may do something more with this image later...I like the idea of a cartoon of it!;)

you got it down good!!! Nice job on the man's body language and facial expression. It is pleasant to run the eyes over his fingers and crossed legs. nice

Really fun to draw from photos. :-) Couldn't resist giving the "man and horse" a 15-minute go:

Very good idea making this photo into a cartoon, June
Magnus, what a strange effect...I rather like it.-

Janet, love the little dirty faces you give the miners. Very apt to use charcoal!
June, very good expressions on both sides. Very neat rendition.
Magnus, the horse has great proportions!!

I love sketch books Sandra...neat stuff.
Here is my take on the mushroom, though while drawing it I thought what great condos with observation deck it would make for some tiny animals
09-15-2010, 02:22 AM
Neat horse, mindbender.
Sandra, I love your chuckling elephant!
Janet, those mushrooms are very good for a fairy-tale.
09-15-2010, 11:11 PM
Mindbender - that is an intriguing image.
Sandra - those are fun sketches. I like the goofy look on the horse. The elephant looks to be having a good laugh too! Interesting expression on the guy pouring the milk.
Janet - oh, I like how you completely filled the page and all the details on the mushrooms are minimal but quite satisfying. Mushrooms at night....looks like they are up to something.
Looking at ya'lls work makes me want to do some. I hope to get to tommorrow.
