MY COMMENTS:
I grew bloomed and photographed this orchid. Its a fancy with stripes on its petals. I am just learning to do watercolor and I want to learn.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
all feedback is welcome.

It looks very nice. The only suggestion I would have is that the leaves look flat. I would like to see some shading/shadows there. You've done a great job of that on the flowers

you did well with a tough subject. Some soft and lost edges will help...variety is the key. Your light is good and so is your drawing, I'd like for you to work with the composition a bit. Decide what is the most important flower and make the others less important. The leaves need to matter less-making the background less bright will help that-less contrast-less attention.

Well for just learning watercolors, you are doing an incredible job! I love that you have retained the luminous feel of the flowers. That works well. I agree that it would be improved if you pick one for a focus point.

I also agree that a darker background would make them pop more. I like what you have going in the upper right background. I would like to see that extended over the rest of the background as well.
