MY COMMENTS:
Hi, all -- I've painted this particular point of view before, but it seems that all I have time to do lately is re-work older or unfinished pieces. Anywhoo, the banks of the river just about 1/2 mile from my house.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
Anything

Hi Stef! Indecision! It is my day of indecision! It seems that this needs something...but my eye and my brain are not speaking to each other today...I think it has helped by very lightly suffusing the sky with a rosy pink and a baby blue...and then bringing the pink down into the foreground where it is reflecting in the watery places. Still it is not competing with the thundering heat of that land...maybe it just needs the intense heat of a blue or purple sky?

Yeah, I love the drama that the manganese sky gives the piece, as Corby suggests. The magic spot is the the deep blue where the water goes in behind the outcropping on the right. LOVE your title.
