MY COMMENTS:
This is developed from a photo i took in the english lake District. The ladies weren't in it.
My reflections aren't right and I know I've further work in that area.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
I have tried to follow the light source in the photo, mainly from the right but has it given me, I think, an unbalanced work?
Any comment appreciated.

This is very nice, I like the Gauguin style applied to an English setting. I dont feel that it is unbalanced because of light flow. Unbalance is a matter more of composition. While it is not greatly unbalanced for that reason either I do feel it would have benefited if the lady in lavender were moved more to the right. It does strike a better balance and ties her to the center of the painting instead of consigning her to the edge where she will have some loss due to framing.... A nice work!

Thank you Carol. I'm now in process of shifting lavender lady to her left. Corby's advice reminded me of when starting out and painting a picture of two boats to always ensure they overlap in order to create one focal point. It appears that the same applies to people.
