Hi everyone,
I was trying to find information regarding lightfastness of Neocolors. Didn't find it on Caran d'Ache site, didn't find it on WetCanvas or somewhere else in Internet.
So I wrote a letter to Cd'A. And they kindly sent me the information.
For the others who also want to know this, here it is. (For both -Neocolor I and II.)

Thank you so much for sharing this! I just bought the neocolor II 15 set and couldn't find lightfastness anywhere!

I have to say I'm a little disappointed that only 3 of the colors in this set have "excellent" lightfastness. Caran d'ache makes a lot of "excellent" rated colors that could easily be substituted for the lower rated colors. The ochre and brown are rated "fair", and the rest of the colors are rated "good or very good", which is a bit vague to me. I love the handling of these, they're amazing, but it wouldn't kill the people at caran D'ache to put together a more lightfast set.

Group who is target is is not artist but art students. They use some odd pigments and there is some pigments what i really want see their products. like py65. i know some products dont have best possible lightfastness but hue at least some products is best possible warm yellow form my uses.
but i bet they fix someday maybe these lightfastness things becouse at least coloured pencils they are removed two really problematic pigments i understanded and they are pg8 and pb1. and one odd pigment is py13 which mainly used totally different kind things than art supplies.
ps. i love them but also hate lightfastness issues. based pigments which is actually shows even more colours are likely in danger. actually my work is not still faded baddly even it still used some pigments i think what i dont maybe want art all.

I hope they fix it, too! You're right about the target market, but it's odd to me that they wouldn't at least try to make substitutions when all their pastels cost the same amount of money, regardless of pigment.
