well I had another acrylic that i finished a while back, I think it was my 3rd or 4th acrylic, the one that I posted earlier was my latest. I'm sorry about the scratchiness of the image, the texture of the canvas was very rough and the scanner picked up on all of it :( Oh well, I hope you guys enjoy. Any critique, as usual is always welcome :)

I love the colors in the figure, but the rest of it is too dark for me to really tell what's going on. :(
From what I can see of it, I like the composition. I just wish I could make out more of it.

Here is another piece... I figured t should go in the same thread, didnt want to clutter  Im a bit more proud of this one, it is watercolor/prismacolor on watercolor paper. It was originally a graphite drawing, and about 2 weeks ago i decided to put it into color, and ths is what happened... :)

I really like the mood of the first one, and the colors on the second are lovely. Great job on both I would say:D
I absolutely love the second watercolour piece! The amount of light that you've brought into this piece is so amazing and such a contrast to the first piece you've posted. It has a great overall feeling, very beautiful and very magickal :D

axl... here is the prismacolor on black paper, only used black and white prismacolors though ;) hehe, hope everyone else enjoys, all criticism welcome :)
*I just realized all three of these pieces have rays of light in them! sorry, was an accident! :) I need to stop using them for a little while... ;)
lol I know I'm not minding your use of light rays :D It seams to be a great way to study light and shadow when you can see definately where the light is coming from. And thanx for posint it - lol I was almost going to run back into chat and remind you that i wanted to see it next time i came online lol

I like rays of light in paintings. The first and the last are my favorites, but I like dark works. The colors and stretch in the first one is really fantastic.

I like both of these paintings but I like the second one much better. It has almost a Tolkienish feel to it. I don't know if you intended that but it looks great. The first is showing up eally dark on my screen but the reflections in the eyes make the whole thing look really interesting.
