Hi All. I have been busy the past few week. I paint once a month in front of Glyn Art Gallery in St Simons GA. some times P/A sometimes from a photo. the days whena lot of people are comming by then it's from a photo. but about 2 or 3 Sat. ago i did this one of a building down the street some. 12/9 on watercolour paper toned tan gesso/pumice/aluminum oxcide. C&C welcome. i also added a pic infront of the gallery. i could put pieces out front to sell also while i'm there. works out quite nice.

I was set up different on the grass under the palms in the shade but they just put new sod down so i had to stay off it. I was packing up after a second piece (from a photo) i didn't get to finish. and thought of getting a photo then. it was about 96 that day and i had no shade around. I wasn't thinking that good by that time of say. it was time to go.

Looks like a nice place to hang out, paint, and possible sell some things! I like your painting. Feel for ya out in that heat. Im not brave enough to plein air in public yet. Keep up the great work.

Looks like you are really having fun. Nice set up, great PA sketch. I see you have some water and a fan there, you might get some electrolytes (I use Emergen-C from WalMart) and an artists umbrella. They are worth having. We live in a dry heat here, but it's still really punishing to be in the sun all day, and there are not a lot of trees so we have to make our own shade! :D Hence the big hat in my avatar....:wink2:

I admire your ability to paint in that kind of heat, Pete. I hope you won't over do it! Nice work!
