No, not Florence NJ... Firenze in Italy.

I did this more than 10 years ago, when I was doing a lot more acrylics. Its from several photos I'd taken from Piazza Michelangelo. If you're familiar with the view, you can see where I got tired of making buildings and put in more trees than are really there ;-). About 48" long.

Ah Jeff to be able to paint like that. I love paintings by Canaletto and Bellotto. they too paint as good as you (perhaps a little earlier in time maybe LOL) Someday......*sigh*

Very nice Jeff, it has the flavour of the place. I wasn't in Florence for very long but I loved it. Nice painting.

Hi Jeff,

Just got back from Florence. You captured the area nicely. And you are right about the volume of buildings. You handled them very well here which brings attention to the city's best features.
