Really nice, I'm sure the wife will love it!
That's a pretty good size painting for plein air work, I'm impressed!

hello JoeKaz,
Your right it is a big painting and the photo i published above is exactly how i came to a finish with it on site about 7 hours but when i got it back to the studio i finished it and have just varnished it. I have worked on site as large as 30x30 it is challenging but exciting.

Hi Robert,
This is really good, the size is very impressive for plein air. Reminds me of Emile Gruppe whose books I'm reading right now. He used to paint larger sizes too. Great job!

Robert, I like your use of broadly applied shapes and you've resisted stirring back into them I have a problem in laying down a stroke and leaving it alone. Good color use and sense of light. Dan

What a nice gift! This has loads of character and is so vibrant. Well done!

I Love this look of, "no nonsense , layed down, leave it alone color and technique".
...Nothing is screaming at me ! Gotta like that..:) I think this is a strong enhancement to the more "carefree" (?) style.

An altogether well executed painting , IMHO !

Congratulations on this successful painting and commission, Robert.

Luckey Wife !:)
