I need some advice on clay for the skin or a special kind of mud for this photoshoot I'm doing. Instead of using makeup, I'm going to put clay or mud on her face and let it dry and just line her eyes with eye charcoal. But I want the dried product to be a nice rich, red-brown color and to have defined cracks but won't flake off easy, like cheap face masks. I'm at a dead end, does anyone know of anything like that? Or any alternatives I could use? Thanks.:grouphug:

This is a long shot but may give you lots of play time to get your design right. Try fimo- it comes in coloured blocks and will air dry or oven dry-for faster method. The colours will give you what you mix together.so a more colour percise level may be made. That is what I have heard some artist use - use to work in a art supply store on Queen street in TO. Hope you find what you need in time
