I'm looking to expand my neutrals. Any thoughts on the Unison Greys (1 -36) as opposed to Giraults set of 50.

I like the Ludwig Maggie Price set - grays but not w/o color.

Thanks Bonnie, but Terry's are a little softer than I like for how I'll be using them. I do have some of his green's though and I like them.

Mike, can't say I'm familiar with Unison, but I'm totally dependent on my Girault grey set. Contrary to the name, they're not all "grey" but an outstanding set of neutral colors. Love 'em!! And as you can see, you get some excellent darks and neutral greens.
Hope someone can weigh in on the Unisons!

I have tons of Unisons, and they are a terriffic pastel. You can't go wrong with them anytime, IMHO. Giraults are another outstanding pastel, which I also have tons of, and is probably my favorite. If you are interested in trying something different, Mount Visions is yet another pastel that I have, which I quite like. You get quite a lot for the money, as the sticks are much larger than even Unisons, and the colors are great.
Here is a pic of their 25 piece Thunderstorm Greys (which I have and love), that is totally different (color wise) than the Giraults (maybe something to consider) It looks like the Mount Visions set is mostly cool tones, and I think the Giraults and Unisons both have some warm neutrals in them - I think Giraults, Unisons and Mount Visions are similar in feel (Just MHO). Have fun shopping!:D

Both the Mount Visions and Girault gray sets are excellent!

Thank you all. Right now I'm leaning toward Girault.
