First one back home in Aus

Hi to everyone, I am still having a ball down under but will soon be comming home. I did this pastel for my mother, she wanted me to paint something for her so I put this little one together quickly. Its 9"x12" on fabrianno paper.
See you guys soon.....off to feed the kangaroos!!!

something bothers me about the leaves
i think it's that there are to much of them for me
but i like the flowers themselves
and the background
i never would have put blue flowers on a purple bg, but it seems to work out just fine here

Like the color combination of the blue and purple...it really glows! I'm sure your mom was thrilled to get a Slowdown original!! :D Hope you're having a great time on vacation!

I am happy to say that my mum loved it. I am not all that confident painting flowers, so this was more of an exercise for me.
