Thanks, but, I am having major storage issues and it is time to cull the herd. Not much other choice.

Oh, please don't shred it!! I'm sure you could find someone who would be happy to take it off your hands (me! me! me!:D ) so it doesn't have to meet that cruel fate! It's gorgeous!!!

These are both great Howard! Maybe you could donate them to a charity auction instead of shredding them? Would be a pity to destroy them.

STOP!!!! These are just too lovely to shred Howard. I know you need space (who doesn't) but can't you do something besides shred them? They are really quite pretty and different.

I agree - don't shred! Find an organization or someone who would love to have art like this on their walls.

Have reached my donation quota already, so that isn't possible at the moment. May just re-rack them for a bit. Did manage to get 28 paintings out of the studio and gone. Still more clean up to go. Have to get rid of some office supplies, art supplies and general clutter. It will happen, it just may take some time.

Have to have some large frames reworked into smaller frames. Moving things about and trying to simplify. Not all that easy.

I totally empathize - I'm doing that too. Getting rid of large pieces of furniture, selling/donating things I no longer use, and I do go through my paintings once a year and throw out, but these really seemed to be too good to do that.

Could you give these to someone or donate to a charity for auction? Better than shredding it. That would be a shame . They are beautiful.

Another from the series.

Getting larger and larger.

Because of a contract, I can only donate X number of works a year. There are reasons for that. I have to get the approval before donating any works and I have reached my quota. It protects the gallery and me as well. Otherwise I would be giving works away all the time and that is no way to pay for groceries.

These really are nice works Howard...given the fact that your quota has been met for donations, please keep these around if you can. It would be a shame to shred them.

They are both really interesting. Don't Shred them. I like the brightness of the colors.

Such a pity!
Does that mean you cannot give them away at all?

I was about to suggest selling them via the Bargain Basement here in WC but would the Gallery contract not allow for that either?

Oh Howard these are stunning. I do agree is such a pity, shredding them makes my heart sink! There must be a way to save them.

Sunset is really amazing. There's a lot of imagery to process. Are those stars in the fabric? A gold fringed curtain falling on the day? The sun's rays going dark and falling away. Awesome.

My gosh, Howard, don't shred it, at least offer it on Etsy or ebay or something. Or as a 'clearance' on your website. I'm about to do that with 2 of mine that no longer fit my style. I have found my niche in western and I have a tropical fish and a lion to part with. Are you on Facebook? Perhaps offer it to the highest bidder there.
