Paul, this is just superb. One tiny observation... down in the bottom right -under your signature - there are a few lines that appear as scratches... you might want to have a look and see what they are - just in case they aren't supposed to be there.

those lines, are my little boys contribution to the art world, he got into my studio while I wasnt there, he is two.... he had added a lot more than what you are seeing and I had to repaint a lot of the lower half of the dog.... these will get cropped out or covered with a mount.... but thanks for reminding me and bringing the palpitations back... lol.... LOL... got to love kids eh... one reason I don't do still life anymore is my delightful daughter at age three, decided on day to give a painting of a PB&J sannie and glass of milk more realism by adding grape jelly and peanut butter to the scene. My granddaughter (also at age 3) contributed to a still life of bananas by squishing a banana all over the canvas. Must be genetic... so I stopped painting them and risking fate... lol

Hope you can fix the contribution. If not, sign his name as an assist.

She is obviously waiting for something - a walk, her dish filled. Recognize that look for sure. Can almost feel her breath - very nice, Paul

Exquisite work! Is this a cockapoo (cocker spaniel + poodle)? Mine was black, but otherwise looked just like girl.

I'm in awe over the exceptional Details on the fur, her eye is soo alive!!!
She does look alot like my maltese Vinnie who passed the face is remarkable, especially when he needed a haircut, which we usualy kept short.
Was most of the fur with brush or fine airbrush? very curious, Love the blending of colors in the dirty fur of her mouth.
Truely a Remarkable work of Art!!
