Finding myself between projects with no definite plans for what the next big piece will be, but shows coming up none the less. Decided to fall back on rocks and water, because to me that is my calm place. I can paint them now with out really thinking about what I am doing, so it is pleasant and kind of zen, but not challenging. Hope you like.

So there you are..teehee
I think you do an amazingly fantastic job on whatever you paint but you do have a way with the rocks. Now as for it not being a challenge, easy for you to say. LOL It's terrific!!

No wonder it is your calm place, you do rocks so well. This looks like a large peice.

Calm is good! :)
How big is this Sharon? It seems from the texture that you've used thin glazes.

Thank you everyone. The feedback is really appreciated. I've been away from WC for awhile and the support of other artists has been surely missed. The piece is only about 8X8. I'm not using any (medium) glazes, but I get that effect by building up layers of colour using water diluted paint. I did this one in black, grays, and white, and then added the colours on top.
