Hi I did this a while ago and thought I would post it for fun. Kind of abstract looking. Last show people didnt know what it was:rolleyes: . It is actually part of a lily pad looking down on it.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/20-Apr-2010/60055-lily2.jpg

Elinor it does look part of a lily pad and does have an abstract look as well, very well done, love the water drops on the lily pad too.

This is great. Love the composition a the large value range. The water drops are perfect.

I think this is really interesting. I love the dark patch on the left of my screen contrasting with the drops of water on the lilypad. Very creative indeed.

Wonderful, what size is it Elinor?

Love it! Especially water peeking through the two lilypads with all the seeds that have flown into it... Creates a lot of depth
Really creative. I love the colours you used.

Very clever closeup. I knew it was a lily pad before I read what you typed, and I assume that is duckweed in between the pads.

Very cool....a different perspective and I like the abstract quality to this.

Thanks everyone.
Melodie it is a 24x18 on Masonite. My hubby attaches masonite or hardboard to wood around the sides almost looking like a gallery style canvas.
