Tom - Welcome to our little corner of the world and what a great start with OPs! Love the bold colors and the use of sgraffito in both. Can't wait to see more of your efforts. These are really good.

These are nice. Great use of color. I particularly like the way you did the mountains in the second one.

Welcome to the OP forum, Tom. Nice start with the OPs and I like your use of color. The paintings also have a nice painterly feel.

Hello and welcome

You seem to be having fun with these new op's ! I especially like the second for the calmness but the first has lots of great energy !

Are these from your own photos ?

Thanks on positive words ( although critics are welcomed as well :) ) ...
I didnt have any reference photos or such. They came from my mind as I did them .

Next time I need a better camera. Shots were taken from mobile phone :o and colors arent what they are look like in real.
Im totaly new to paintings, but my mother hooked me up with it. She is a painter for some 10 years or so and she seems to pass the enthusiasm on me as well :D And I love it .

ANd there is another one in OP I did recently but forgot to upload.

Sry on my poor English.

Greetings from SLovenia !

Good job on your first couple of paintings. I like the mountain one the best, the sky is blended nicely (did you do a wash with turp?) but the line of grayish trees below it is a little too even. The colors in the other two are great; I do think the last one's clouds look a little too geometrically even (I see a rectangle and a triangle) and too textured/dark for my tastes. Keep working and developing your style like I try to do, your work looks promising.

Ty :D
I see my mistakes as well....I was more concentrating on how OP works...blending, mixing colors,....n stuff...will try to improve for sure...and it was done in 15 min or so...too fast :D
