no such thing as too simple when the fundamentals are present .. this is quite nice.

I think the simplicity gives it strength. The green colour on the hair is a perfect touch.

Well....I must confess...This is my work!

I was looking through some of my figure drawings from college (college was a long time ago....lol) and decided to try them in paint. I wanted to go back to a time when my work was more spontaneous. What do you think....should I continue on this path?

absolutely here too
great path to be on
many discoveries to be made
look forward to seeing more

see?!...a reason to keep all work for future inspirations!!
it seems older work is always more spontaneous
we have fewer preconceived notions
I guess the trick is to remain fresh while learning
learning mixed with experimenting
(something I have to work on, I am realizing)

again, I love it!

I like the simplicity...spontaneous feel to this painting. I agree this is a good path to follow. *GRIN*

Thanks everyone!

I have found it very interesting working from my old drawings, with the knowledge that has come since that time. Things that were beyond my capabilities then are now instinctive.
