Lamp and apples

I haven't posted in a while, but here is my latest. It is done on Strathmore dry media paper, 11x14, using Prismacolor pencils. C&C are welcome. Hope you enjoy it.

At first I thought the flame was coming from a candle, then I realized it's an oil lamp. Perhaps -- next time, of course! -- you could rotate the lamp so the wick and flame are seen better?

Also, may I say your picture is quite realistic -- I keep expecting to see the flame moving!

This has a lovely painterly quality to it, I like the old look of the lamp and the glow of the light - well done.
