Just a quick sketch after looking at some historical gowns, and a google search for "wenches"... I sort of combined the two, so that the line of the dress is more elegant... Watcha think, may ink it and do some ps 7 for color... I was also considering a wooded background, but I might just fudge that with photoshop :D

Here's a close up... btw these were tinted by the scanner,
I don't sketch in purple, only Mal does that ;)

Is this wench during the king George area? I think that the dress would have turned many heads if they were lucky enough to keep them. Heads, that is.

Very nice dress design Bobby :) I think this will work well with your ink and PS7 coloring. This is what I see from the way you have her hands. She is holding someone back with her right hand and gesturing another with her left to come closer.

All I can think, looking at the "bodice," is "OUCH!!"

Just wait until you take them off at the end of the day and have the underdress marks imprinted into your skin. The air hits them and THEN the ouch part begins.
Very nice sketch, Bobby. :D
You know, if this were 2 years ago, you would have hit a pic of me in your "wench" google search. :D I was wench of the week for the first weekend of our Renfest a few years back. The site took the pics down though. :(

Hehe. I don't consider myself a Rennie, but I guess if the bodice fits...
I blew glass and narrated glass blowing demonstrations at our local Renfest for the last 6 years. Not this year though (thank God). My friend sold his shop and I finally get a break. Yay. :D
Bobby, you really did a great job with her costume.

Oh okay. So you're more like a 'Boothie'.
I guess I'm not a true 'rennie.' Heck, I've never even worked at a faire and there's only one faire that I go to and it's not a great distance from where I live. But by god, I never miss it. I wear a costume- the whole bit. I almost got to be a 'boothie' one year but... well, that's a long story.

No no Elankat, I take full blame for it. Sorry Bobby, I sometimes forget my manners and get a little carried away. I'll cut it out now.:)
