Okay I can't stay away. :)

Here's another one of my fabric sculptures, a different sort this time. This one is jointed to be poseable (I'll attach a few pics so you can see him in different poses) and made of printed cotton fabrics instead of silk. The construction method is different to the silk sculptures, more like traditional doll-making.

This is your calling. Do you make these professionally?

Cision,

I sell them, if that's what you're asking. They are very labor intensive so I don't make very many of them, but just about everything I make is for sale. That's just how I am with my art. Once I've finished something, I don't want it around anymore. I want it to go out and find a good home, so I have room in MY home to make MORE stuff. :)

Of course, some things tend to hang around a lot longer than I'd LIKE, but oh well. :)

How big are these?

I'd love to see a giant one :)

These stand about 12" tall, though it depends on how you pose them. They're about 28" from nose to tail.

A giant one of these would require re-engineeering, because the interior supports in these guys wouldn't hold up if you made them much larger. :)

I saw this one on your site. Saw that it was still for sale too.

Ahh! I love the fabric, chicka!! These are so amazing! If you ever get into showing a demo of how to create these - I would just LOVE to see it!

Very creative. Wish I had the talent, skill and imagination evidenced by you and the other Fantasy forum contributors. First time that I have visited this forum but will definitely put it my WC.
