I had decided to become a lurker- commenting can be work

and bam you do this to me!

but this is so excellent in every way. (how can I be silent!)

the distribution of strong color suggests
and complements form expertly!
and of course
the form is delicious.

Absolutely great piece (and I'm about to run over to the violin and say the same thing)
Keep these guys away from Wayne's fisherman, though. :D

Very nice color.

Maybe if you paint fish again, go to the fish market and buy real fish. Pay particular attention to the eyes with your next fish painting. Even the eyes of a dead fish have something to say.

i will try to taste what u told.
here supermarket is not far away from my house :)

mame, one of my friends just told me the colour is kind of dirt in the background dark area of the fish.
do u think so, may i ask your opinion?

Color is a very personal thing. I like all the colors I use to be mixed and I especially like mixed complimentaries. Some people call this mud - but mud can be very complex and interesting because then if you add just small areas of brighter/higher value or pure color, it sends a message of "this is a special or important area".

Much like the way you did your violin painting.

I like the look of what your friend calls "dirt" in the fish painting. I see alot of variation in the color mixing. I think it looks very sophisticated.

as the friend is good at drawing, so i began to doubt myself.
still searching and learning, always in self-doubt.

suddenly remind a sentence
"remember to trust your own eyes and hands the most."
