New York Park wip

I'm attempting to do an autumn park scene in the rain and I'm calling it rainy day. Beacuse of the size, 24x36" I have quite a bit to do yet. This is oil on canvas.

Thanks Jimmie. This is wher I'm at so far. I've never tried to paint a rainy day so this one is somewhat of a personal challenge to me.

Dang this is gonna be good. I can already "see" the wetness. I'm trying to figure out what you did to the tree on the left to make it look wet. Dark single-ish value on the bark and pale green on the leaves? Looking forward to this I have a feeling I'm going to learn a bit.

The colors are wonderful and the reflections, shadows and values read great. I like the depth that is developing.
