View Full Version : WDE Feb. 26/27/10 IMAGES HERE!!!

02-24-2010, 09:36 PM
I will be posting 16 images ...and one extra :D

Please wait until all are uploaded before commenting - thank you.

You have 30 minutes to make your choice and choose your materials - you may use any medium.

For the next two hours, just go for it……then STOP!, scan or photograph your work and post it in your own new thread with your title, beginning with WDE, plus date, plus title.

When you introduce your work, please add a description of size, medium, support (paper, canvas etc) and time taken.
If your work is digital, we'd appreciate a description of whether it's freehand drawing/painting, manipulated image or done using the filters available in some programmes - you could also say which programme you've used.
All are acceptable but we'd like to know the "hows, whys and wherefores"!!

Use WIP for any work in progress at the 2 hour mark, and MI for multiple images if other works are to be added before the following Monday.

NB. To avoid forum flooding, please put all of your work during the weekend, for the current WDE, into a single thread: multiple threads will be merged!
From the following TUESDAY, you may open a new thread for later work.

You have the whole week to participate - until the next WDE starts (usually Friday). If you finish a piece after that time, we now run a 'Catch-up' thread in the forum each month where you can post any WDE not completed in its allotted week .... it's a sticky near the top of the forum page.

After posting your contribution, please view others’ entries and comment and encourage when you can. Unless requested, please refrain from critiquing.

I am also including a link so that you may see the images anytime till the WC is back up and running here's the link

I love these photos Jean!! Thanks for hosting! You're going to love it when the paintings start rolling in. I hope the site isn't down any longer than they are predicting. :)

I copied and pasted the link to an email, and emailed it to myself. You can copy and past it anywhere, as long as you remember you won't be able to come back here to get the link.

I'm going to try to sneak in a little painting time at work today. :p

Thanks for the lovely pics Jean - they make for a difficult choice!

Actually, you can now relax for a few days and gather the energy for a HUGE posting of creative work when we're back online! It's Christmas-come-erly then! :D

Lovely images Jean - I have taken loads and hope to do many while the site is down. I particulalrly like the still lifes especially the gourds - I love doing Gourds.

Will probably be mostly TV art although I was well enough to sit at my easel for a couple of hours uesterday.

One question... please could you tell me the name of the grandaughter - I hate entitling pics as 'someone's grandaughter' :P

Great going Jean! Thanks for the early posting..

After my first ever WDE... I was so looking forward to doing another, and then was crushed at the news of the migration. You have saved me countless hours on the therapy couch... Well, I don't have a therapist but I could see having to if I had to go without getting a WED project!
WC is way more addictive than chocolate!:cat:

Love the photos.. Hmmm.. Can't really pick right now. So.. I saved them all! Hope the site gets back up soon.

Stumbled around in the portraiture channel just last evening... guess what I found there. BIG grin.

I ust had neck surgery and hip surgery and am a bit crumpled, rumpled, and feeling like I've been run over by an 18 wheeler, however.... I think I must try at least a couple of these beauties you've treated us with. Now, if I can only see over the top of my neck brace....ha ha! Cheers to you and thanks for the great images!

What did you find :D

03-01-2010, 12:41 PM
Just this. :D
As I was just looking at the sketch, I never noticed it was part of the AMAE.
So looking at the WDE was sort of déjà vue. :D

Jean, thanks for some wonderful images. I found the pears irresistible and might come back to some others on the catch-up thread anyway, if I don't do more today. Your fruit and flowers are incredible, the animals are great, so many good ones this time! Thanks for hosting!
