Hey guys, I'm just about done with the Casey Stoner painting- thought you might want to check it out~

47"X28"~Acrylic on Stretched Canvas

Marvelous piece with photo realistic details. Not an easy thing to do in acrylic.
The diagonal composition gives a sense of speed.

Thank you all- very much appreciated.
I should have mentioned that allot of the small shading and smooth graduations are airbrushed- that might help explain the smoothness not often associated with acrylic paint.

That is fantastic work Steve! I have played the game Moto GP for three years now and when I saw the picture above I thought it was a photo. Outstanding!

I watched a few of your videos. That's really cool to see. I'm almost tempted to try airbrushing someday, but I suppose you need a steady hand for that.

Hope this answers any questions about technique.Initially I figured you must do an insane amount of masking for a painting like this. Then I saw that French curve stencil, and suddenly it all made sense...
