Well, this explains a lot.

I was searching eBay for something to carry my watercolors etc. for plein air.

I found a small satchel identical to a Winsor and Newton only it said "North Light Books". I thought it odd a book store would have something identical to a watercolor company's field kit but didn't really care about logos or anything so I bought it.

Now I see the reason a book company and a watercolor company had the same little satchel.

BTW I love mine. Haven't taken it out yet but it has all sorts of handy little pockets and such for my brushes, paper and whatever palette I eventually settle on. I'm still looking for the perfect size little water flask to include in it but may try water brushes instead.

I'm sure this was some sort of promo item someone got and didn't have a use for. But I'm happy to have it.

And thank you for providing such a fun and useful item for whatever promotion you had that led this little bag to me.

So glad to hear you were able to put one one of our promotional bags to good art use! This was a good one for on-the-go painting. We have some larger canvas sack type bags out there as well--I love using them to carry art supplies to class, or even to carry groceries!
All best,
