Sounds like fun. I can't play in the snow here as I'm confined to the house, so I'll go play in the snow with my paint brushes instead. :)

Beautiful shot of the Royal Regina Air Force on the Saskatchewan River....

Nice of you to propose some snow... I love snow, it is so full of colours.
This week-end is baaaaad for WDE. I am scheduled to attend a watercolour workshop with Roland Palmaerts in Montreal on Saturday and Sunday. So, when I get to it, it will probably be Monday and Tuesday. But I promise I will give it the highest consideration.

EP: yes they are canadian geese
Alain,   too funny, there are enough of them to form the RRAF
I had a look at his web site, holy cow I wish I could join you for the workshop!!
These geese stay for the winter, and what we call the 'wascana geese' thousands of wilds join them in the spring and nest on one of the islands (called goose island) which is not accessible by people, once the goslings are mostly grown, but cannot fly yet, there is a Goose Herding, and volunteers, round up all who cannot fly (the adults cannot fly because they are molting) and are taken to an area on a lake up north to finish their maturity and regrowth of feathers. Apparently where geese learn to fly is mostly where they return the next year. they banded many of them this year to track how many come back to Regina.
Valri: glad to have you lurking, and Robert, glad those tools are sharp, the photos will appear early friday morning
beth, can't wait to see what you do with your playtime

Looking forward to these, Bonnie! Love the Canadian Geese -- that is a huge flock. I've seen Canadian geese up close and they are gigantic birds. My cat would be in a panic to meet a bird twice his size, he already gets boggled at Christmas turkeys and a bit awed. Looking forward to the rest of your pics!

Your invitation picture is enough to draw me in. No free time Fri through Sun so probably well after weekend before I can join in. Love to have a go painting snow.
