I am working on her using 'my' girl's face! ;) Trying to learn how to glaze- and have just put the first one on!! oil/canvas 32" x 24"

What a great idea using your girls face in place of the original, its not an easy painting to copy but it certainly is one of the most copied and great to learn on, take your time with the glazing building up slowly the layers which in turn will produce a lovely glowing effect......good luck with it......

This is looking much better, you have done well so far with skintones, i do think the values in the blue head peice need ajusting a little more, i think you need to go a little more deeper where thats concern but the overall painting is comming together really well.....

What a cute idea to use a different face, I love that. Could you please explain how you are using your glazes? how you are mmixing and applying...it looks great so far :cat:
