This is my old style... pencils first, then permanent marker, than pain staking layers of watercolor, all on special all purpose pen paper by Borden & Riley... Anyway this is my oldest elf (she's 846) and the dress was designed by me as well... Her name is Gwynnithril (named before Gwynneth Paltrow, so not how I derived the name) pieced together from the glossary section at the back of Tolkein's Simarillion, a great source for names...

Here's a close up, had to reduce the file massively, as it was over 400K... :D, but the original is only 9 x 12...

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! My jaw almost hit the floor when this pic came up :) That's a long process for rendering this drawing. Do you still do some the same way? GREAT name and GREAT dress design!!

Actually no Artdude, not since finding the joys of photoshop... and I'm going for a different style now, more digital... These take a while... and there's no redo button let me tell ya... I have 3 others though I will post in few days, or maybe hours lol... thanks for the capitals :D

The colours are magnificent! And although I like what you've been working on digitally, I would love to see more pieces like this!
Nice job Bobby. Great colors in this.

Heehee. Sorry about that. I responded to the right post but wrong picture....
This picture is excellent. I would love to see mor of your handpainted pieces. I like the way the layers of colour add texture to the clothing and walls.
