This is oil on canvas 9"x12"
Been thinking about doing the flag for a while so I thought I would do a small one first and if it turns out OK doing a much larger one.
All comments appreciated.This was done with a knife

I like this very much and I think it would be terrific if enlarged. I cannot help but think of Jasper Johns who painted that flag in so many variations. The major similarity of yours to his would be the thick application of paint - in his case encaustics. I especially like the overall design of this one. I say....go for it! :thumbsup:
A strong, expressive work. It would be exciting to see this larger :)

Yes I thought of JJ also. Lovely expressive piece with wonderful brush strokes and colours, I say go for it, as large as you can!

I've decided to do a larger one.
Gonna have to but some big tubes of paint:) .
