Beautiful ref pictures, Lin...Thank you!!

We have received new snow every day for what seems forever with cold temps...thus my title of "Winter Daydreams" for this painting of Marloes peninsula, Pembrokeshire coastline.

It's oil on 5x7 hardboard. This time I first toned the support with Cad. Orange acrylic to try for a warmer, brighter, look. I'm fairly pleased with the result.

C&C welcome. Thanks for looking! :)

Done at around 2 hrs.

 Yes - the warm tones really work, in my opinion, Deano! Wonderful confident brush strokes too - outstanding painting of the cove! We're getting snow and then snow and then snow here too, so your painting also gave me a much needed glimpse of a wamer season. :D

You have such a great way with acrylic paint. I really like the way you use colour and the thickness of the paint is so appealing.

Love those foreground grasses.

Love the cad orange ground for this. Great choice. Especially nice among the grasses and I like the contrast with the lower right soft blues and pinks. Very warm looking. Cold here also. What was that about global warming? Hmmm.
Normal temps for NE - cold and snowy.

Great evocation of a coastal scene with a few brushstrokes, Deano. Beautiful colours.
