XP from cp - English Cocker WIP

I posted the earlier WIP on the colored pencil channel, but I wanted to post here to for any C & C! This is from a reference pic I snapped at a local dog show. I'm using Prismacolor cp and the size is 14"x17".

I finally got a chance to work on this a little more. I can't fit the whole thing on my scanner so I'll just have to do what I can until I can take a good picture of it. The dog is essentially done though I'm definitely open to any suggestions, now I'm working on the background detail.

Strike the pose, there's nothing to it! I know but it's a lovely pose plus your attention to detail is outstanding. I will definitely be following this one!
