"The Blue Bucket"
http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/lib/1263/completed/35760/bluebucket.jpg

This is so beautiful. It continues the tradition you started with "The Red Bucket" and reminds me of what will so shortly be in my hands! I love the way you detailed the slightly rusting metal and created the ball of yarn, it's awesome.

"Purity"

I remember this amazing beauty from its WIP thread with all the interesting stages you went through to achieve a masterpiece. It's so fresh and real that I can feel the water and hear its gentle sloshing. Wonderful nature painting. It's a floral that celebrates everything about wetlands in one heartstopping moment of beauty.

Ari On My Knee
http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/lib/1263/completed/70184/AriOnMyKneeSm.jpg

I have ventured into the oil pastel forum for the first time, having never picked up an oil pastel in my life and having no such intentions in the forseeable (but you never know). I just want to say that I am really blown away by this piece. Ari is gorgeous and the sense of love and belonging you have achieved in this is phenomenal! I absolutely love it!

This is so great! I love the horse, he's looking off with such a lovable expression. The whole painting is so jolly and cool, it's like going off into an old Christmas carol or something, getting to go on a hayride. Beautifully rendered and composed, full of emotion, this rocks!

I remember this from the December Challenge, it came out so great. Love the way you added the dancers to the temple. I'm impressed with good architectural paintings, since I have so much trouble with them -- you got the temple spot on. Congratulations!

This is delightful! The sun is so intense and the scene so inviting and colorful, makes me wish I was there. It looks as if it was painted from life, you did a great job from an RIL photo to give it the freshness of life painting. Great perspective -- once again I'm awed at people who do architecture well!

Autumn reflections
http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/Projects/lib/1263/completed/45152/tn_IMG2800.JPG

This is so rich and colorful! I love the water and the foreground rocks, they lead right into the rest of the scene with its natural foliage and color-drenched depth. Everything in this one is just right -- you've managed to use all the brights in ways that make them make sense and intensify the light. Strong values and great color balance. I'm studying this one to improve my landscapes.

I watched the WIP of this portrait and loved every stage of it. The power in it is fantastic, she is so beautiful and striking. Love how you handled the cloth and embroidery, how you show so much emotion and the harsh desert light. That sky is awesome too! Wonderful painting. You should enter this in national competitions, it's stunning.
