Thanks Paintonbrush! You are my supporter:) !
You know, all the time I used only graphite and lately charcoal for my art. But suddenly I decided to explore colors and it scared me a lot in the beginning. Probably instead doing something simple I started with complicated kid's portrait and fail it completely. But I belong to people who after some mistakes just pushed harder to reach the goal. So, here is my rose’s serial... I just hope to reach some level in colors mixing and generally understanding colors. So difficult… But with WC it is much easier...;)
Thanks TScottDove and Fagan! I hope to not disappoint you at the end. I can, I know myself:)
Thanks for support!

Can't say I've seen your other roses, but I'm glad I've seen the beginnings of this one. Super detailing on the leaves already. The flower itself looks very promising especially the subtle shading.
Have a great day! :)

It's a gorgeous start to what will be a truly beautiful painting.
Don't choke;...;) you can't miss with your color choices and skillfull rendering. I would consider this painting as a glorious and passionate performance;...and enjoy every step of the process.

Alyona, it is superb !. For me it is the best out of three. I can feel it's petals under my fingers touch.
