I really like this, Scott. I mostly have been watching from the shadows (which will hopefully change), but have enjoyed watching as your work which has always been good has taken on such a beautiful "glow". Very nice.

Wow. Scott, this is fantastic. The perspective's true but that's not the whole story, something about your hue shifts and the way you did this gives an impression of weathered wood and true light. Fascinating the way you've been doing all these buildings lately.

Hi Scott! Happy New Year....

As usual, your "Scott" style is shining thru. The sky looks very ominous and I like it against the light side of the building.

The only thing that draws my eye where it probably shouldn't go is the highlights around the windows in the shadow side of the house. Lights in shadow areas are not as bright as anything in the light. You would still see them but they would be lower in value (if yours are a 1 now, they should be about a 6 or 7)

Hopefully will see you around LAC sometime soon.

Hi Scott!

So Robert has me wondering too....buildings? Did this start when we found ourselves out of our element when we painted with Colo Pastel Soc?
Have you fashioned a perspective tool?
That Victorian house you chose to paint with CPS was such a challenge and you did nail the perspective well, as you have done in this one too. I like your choice of complimentary colors in this.
I haven't painted for a bit, and as soon as I finish this post, you've encouraged me to go set up for a painting today.

Thanks for your unsolicited encouragement Scott!

 Hello Scotty, I like this house! Reminds me of some paintings done by a watercolorist, Skip Lawerence, examples of color and luminosity---You have done well with your color choices as they are very luminous! We all have to learn buildings, and color, and so much!! The key is to keep painting, right?

What a nice painting to start off the New Year with, Scotty. I like this direction you're taking with the buildings and hope to see more!
