I made it! I tried this as a vector piece wondering if I could pull off the cat fur. I still have to play with it and make it better. But for now...This took me a little over two hours last night.
Created with CorelDRAWX4.

And I also tried the vintage ladies. About an hour.

Love your digi cat. (I guess a digi cat does not shed on the furniture?) :)

 Hiya Blue! I just LOVE what you've done with "Patches Pausing"! Patches is absolutely adorable...it looks just like her, and my flower pots are so lovely lined up behind her. Makes me think I need to get two more for next year so it looks this good, lol! Beautiful job on the pals too; you've simplified them perfectly. You do some really awesome digi work! ! ! :D

Thank you for coming by Bonnie, Crowie, Greg, Carol Lee, Heather, everyone.
Using vector shapes is sort of like creating a collage of shapes and layering them. Until lately I never enjoyed vector art making but lately it is giving me a lot of pleasure as I explore it using my tablet and pen. It is time consuming and requires patience and this is good for me because I am usually impatient so I take deep breaths and keep going instead of having hissy fits.

 Hi Mary Jane! Your flapper and peaches are wonderful! Your style is so clean, fresh and fun! Any one of these would make awesome greeting cards. Have you ever thought of it or created any from your artwork? I've really enjoyed your contributions to my WDE. It's been a pleasure seeing you bring so many of my refs to life in your own unique way. Hope you have an awesome New Year! (I'm heading out to check out your blog now.) :D

And thanks for the great reference photos Elizabeth. Happy New Year Robert! Paula - Thank you for dropping by.
It is New Years Eve in Vancouver and not yet midnight on the west coast of Canada while most of the rest of the country has already celebrated midnight or at least getting close to it.
A toast to 2010. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
