This was the view out the window this morning... A hummingbird chirping away.

May everyone's travels be safe and joy abound.

I wish each one of you a blessed Christmas. Whether you have many friends and family members gathered around or you're simply remembering how it used to be, I hope the joy of this season will give you peace.

I wanted to share this drawing my FIL did about 50 years ago.

Merry, merry Christmas to all! Happy high-pitched barking and wagging little stub-tail from our newest family member, Rhiannon the very young Corgi! Also purrs from Miss Gemini and Ari, deeper-voiced greetings from Ayla and Zoe, children laughing and the sounds of "Jingle Bells" sung to an entirely new tune with some nonsense-words added in where they don't know all the words yet.

I never thought I'd feel my heart melt at hearing that song sung without knowing all the words or precisely the tune everyone knows, but I wanted to share that. It brought a huge smile to my face last night. These old things are always new to someone special.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from a snowy midwest. We looked out this morning to a blanket of snow. The snowplows have not been around yet and it is a wonderful sight.
May we all have a safe and glorious new year!

Merry Christmas to all my WC friends, new and old! We spent a wonderful day celebrating with family, and like you Robert, watched several excited grandchildren open gifts. It doesn't get much better than that!

Congratulations Margaret on your new dusty gift! Enjoy.

Oh and as for snow... only on the mountains in our area - but glorious sun - that's a gift in itself.

I love hearing about new supplies as gifts... off to go see if there is mention of this on the other thread.

Barb

PS: Deborah - thanks for the ornament!
