View Full Version : Claud's Hamburgers

XPosted from landscapes - Heavy-Body Acrylic on 9 x 12" prepped mdf panel. Based on photo I took one summer morning this year. Famous hamburger joint on Brookside in Tulsa. Kept the palette rather subdued to emphasize the history of the place.

Celeste, this could be in any city or town, it looks so real looking in a wonderful painterly way. I love it, kind of brings memories of past times before all the McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King et al. Thanks so much for bringing the past alive. I like the part of the painting seen thru that window.
