I'll take the sunshine! I may not get to the event, though; going on holiday. Maybe catch up in the new year.
Thanks for hosting!
Oh, and btw, we'd love some down-under images for our holidays thread (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=596271)for next year!

Hi Maureen, Connie, Gail, Crowie, Beth, be good to see you.

Wendy, pop in and wave if you can. I saw the holiday thread after I had decided on what to do but should be able to get some other photos for that. :)

Robert, it is indeed a Vauxhall

Sandra, EP, Arsty, great to have you along. The car will fit as many as want to pile in!

Hello Briar! A fellow Aucklander! (Although I was born in Wellington). You may even have visited some of the places, heard of some, but also some out of the way spots

Ahh, Always a place I thought would really be neat to visit and to do it in style in that beautiful car and have a driver so as to not miss any of the sites, how great is that. Looking forward to it and even though having company over the week-end should not keep me from it, as they are coming to hunt so will be out of the house most of the day. Looking forward to it.

Hi Scatty - there will be lots to choose from and hopefully something will spark for you.

Bonnie, Napier is half the North island away - at least 7 hours drive.

Mary and Kay, great to have you along for the drive - but we won't be going to Napier.

WOW! Boy's toy... with proper tyres and carburettor!
Bring on the summer, I am in need. Here it is -24C and the sun has not shown up for three days. I will take on an Auckland rainy day anytime.:)
