Thank you very much for your lessons. So kind of you to share this information.

I can finally sleep well from now on knowing that there is solid infomation to rely on for good teaching tools as though there are plenty of books on art teaching in Holland there are hardly any practical information how to organize the lessons best.
Thank you.

I have a question: I just subscribed to this list and saw that the lesson 1 to 23 are in pdf. I suppose this means that I cannot send in any exercises??
From where on can I follow the classes than and how does that work

08-11-2007, 10:49 PM
Willemien, the classes are in the main part of the classroom forum. they are ongoing and you can post to them.

YEAH...our pdf files are like desert nomads--they move from place to place. Let's all thank Ann Bruckner for giving our wanderers a home. She does us a great service by hosting these and I don't think we ever thanked her. Well here is my heartfelt thanks!

I would love to have these pdf files! Having trouble finding them, tho. I have tried all the links here and none are working for me. Have they moved again? HELP! Thanks....

10-28-2007, 06:43 PM

I've been in and out of WC a couple of times, but I'm back again. I shall be the good penny. But, I get 404 when I link to the 23 pdf files for the first lessons. Any help? Or, is it too late and are they in the blackhole of cyberspace.

10-28-2007, 06:49 PM
Hi Carla.

I had the same problem so I have been working right from the classes. It isn't too hard to do. I've made it through to Class 9 so far. Welcome back.

10-28-2007, 08:16 PM
Well, thank you Doug. I can follow directions - mostly.

11-15-2007, 05:23 AM
Hi jasmine here I cant get the link too open it goes too someones site? thankyou .

11-15-2007, 01:30 PM
Hi Jasmine,
That's correct, but still this is the correct side, although, going this way doesn't work, so
Go to: www.atreese.com.
choose the home button - another menu will open - choose: Wet Canvas pdf and there you can find the lessons you want to see.

Best regards, Willy

11-15-2007, 02:42 PM
Not sure exactly what problems y'all are having but this link takes you directly to the PDFs on Ann Buckner's website.

She is kind enough to host them for us.:clap:

There is a typo in Willemein's post. Ann's home page is www.atreesse.com (http://www.atreesse.com)

11-15-2007, 03:17 PM
Hi Joe,

First I am also very happy with the host of Ann Buckner's site
and I am happy that I found a way to go there.
If I click on the link at the Wet Canvas Classroom, it gives me the following url:
http://www.atreesse.com/wetcanvasdrawingpdf.html (this is different from the one you get and which brings you directly to the right place  )
with the announcement: :"this page cannot be found"
Probably Jasmine has the same problem.
Another way to go there (because I love the way she has put it together  ) is the url I adviced to Jasmine.
No idea, why I get the wrong url

Best regards, Willy

11-15-2007, 06:30 PM

I am confused. I would like to take the drawing classes. Do I just do this on my own or is there a way for me to post the drawings for critique? It sounds as though this is done in specified period of time and that completed assignments are posted weekly all at once. Please explain to a newbie how I can best benefit from this course.

12-07-2007, 01:43 AM
I am trying to hook up with these pdf lessons 1-2 3 and I cannot get thru . Will someone please give me the correct sight. I really want to learn Bars:wave:

12-08-2007, 10:59 AM
The current URL is http://www.atreesse.com/home/wetcanvaspdf.html

12-08-2007, 11:04 AM
Scene Chaser - I don't know if you ever got a reply but the lessons are continuously ongoing. Just read the lesson, do the assignments and then post your work. One of the guides or instructors will respond.

12-10-2007, 05:10 PM
Sadly, that link gives me a 404 error and so I cannot download the PDFs. Is there a newer working URL?

12-10-2007, 05:15 PM
I'm having the same problem - the links are broken.

12-10-2007, 11:39 PM
My drawing needs LOTS of work - but will try. Secondly, I am sort of a computer illiterate and not sure how to "post" drawings, etc., if that time should come. Also, asked to see the "Basic 101 Classes 1 thru 23 - Pdf's", but can't get. And what is Pdf's?

12-11-2007, 01:05 AM
Try THIS link:

Hope this helps.

12-18-2007, 05:05 PM
Hi I am a newbie and want to download the classes. Neither link works, comes up 404 not found. Can anyone help me?
Thanks, Dana

12-18-2007, 05:07 PM
Oops, Didn't see the last link. It works and thanks Susie.

Thanks, Dana

01-01-2008, 11:45 AM
Just a note to all, I tried that last link and it didn't work for me, but this one did:

These pdf's are very helpful - thanks for putting them together!

02-19-2008, 01:41 AM
I want to thank you for the PDF's I did get. The Basic 101 Classes 1 thru 23 site apparently is no longer available ... probably exactly what a newbie like me needs ... oh woe is me! The same is true of the tree tutorial PDF. I love the PDF format. It enables me to work right at my computer without having to print out all those pages! Again, thanks so much.

02-20-2008, 07:48 PM

macCALICOmac and Mwp1988 -
I just spotted these posts of yours and wanted to say I am just starting these classes myself. I do hope you will join in and post on the threads, i don't want to be all alone. Post your pre class assignment in the pre class assignment thread and then go on to Class 101 Basics thread and post lines/circles chair etc.
Look forward to meeting you there.

10-29-2008, 09:08 AM
I have to offer my apologies to everyone that couldn't connect to the .pdf files. I haven't been to the Drawing Classroom in awhile and didn't think about the links becoming broken when the files were moved. I will make sure the link stays the same now that I realize what has happened in the past. The correct link is: http://atreesse.com/home/wetcanvaspdf.html

10-29-2008, 01:12 PM
Thanks Ann...it's very kind of you to still host it!:D

10-29-2008, 04:39 PM
It is my pleasure to be able to post the .pdf files. I just added the .pdf's, in three sections, for the Intermediate Perspective from BD102. I had to split that .pdf as it was so large.

01-13-2009, 11:18 PM
 Wow! Thanks!!! I could use a refresher course! I KNOW these will be an awesome help for me, and my kids! They love to draw too lol.

Now... where'd I put that pencil? (looks under sofa cushion and finds an old beat up m&m) That's a start!... but no pencil... :D

06-22-2009, 06:13 PM
