Very original, Janet. I like the background a lot.

Think I'll use this for one of my cards...just cut it down and paste it on some bright paper. Lino cut 5x7.

I love that lino cut design, Janet. It will make a terrific Christmas card.

Happy Hanukkah, Kwanza, Solstice and Christmas!:D
( hope I didn't leave anything out-sure I did )!
This is the card I sent in the pen and Ink exchange here at WC for this year
Used 2 sizes of micron pens for the inking and Wolff's carbon for the shading/based on a combination of some old PD Children's book's illustrations I found on the web ( goose was originally all white....just had to make her a Canada goose )..
( SHHHHHH....don't tell ...they haven't revealed yet over there )!
Sweet black and white lino, Janet!:)
Like especially how you've placed the black cat and tree behind the window
Cheers to All,

Lovely work, Chris. Looks like they are having a chin-wag (conversation). I love Canada geese (and barnacle geese)!!

Janet - what a lovely Hannuaka card and a perfectly adorable Christmas lino!!!! I like your style. it is so crisp and good graphics with the cat in the window an all....
Wild Goose - that is a lovely card with your name sake featured on it.
Here is mine lino 6" X 5" approx.
Janet and Wild Goose - If you pm me your address I'll send you one. June is your address the same?

'A Christmas angel', gouache, 8 by 10 ins, hotpress paper.

What a wide variety of designs. Think you've covered all the holidays Chris with your unusual pen and ink design. Very nice, and June, what can I say...You should have some illustrated children's books out there. Like how you are handling gouche.
Robin, can hardly wait to do more lino prints. Still have a problem with my black and whites.

June - that is unusual, enjoyable and thought provoking--I love it:thumbsup:

This one isn't overtly seasonal, but I'm going to use it for a card anyway:
Here in Pretoria Christmas itself isn't seasonal anyway. We are in the middle of one of our infamous heat waves again, and I pity all the poor fake Santas with their thick red coats. ;-)

aaaah, what a sweetie pie pooch.

Brian and June-
Happy pre-Christmas to you both!:)
Contemplative and thoughtful ( self-portrait )? and companion angel, very fine finishing.....and definitely a pug only-expression on that pug!

Love the doggie Brian....Here is another card I sent out, along with the lino print...All through at last.
I'm going to try and buy a low sodium ham (almost impossible to find) Someone told me to soak it in milk, to cut the sodium...has anybody ever heard of that?
Have a great holiday everyone and eat all you want and
Brian you need a swimming pool and a nice cool drink...you're having a heat wave and we are loaded with snow and heating bills.
