Hi Tom, What a great painting. That's a huge painting for a plein air. You must work really fast. Not only am I fond of the technique you used but the palette of colors you chose. Super job.

Nicely done. Great interpretation of the scene in front of you.

Tom, this is another example of how you turn a quite ordinary scene into something spectacular.

Oh, love this one Tom, I can smell the decaying leaves and the crisp air, just before the forest is blanketed with snow! You nailed it again!

This really captures that last breath of Fall. I almost reached for my jacket. Nicely done....

This is Stunning to me!!!! I am so glad that you posted a reference to the location, I am trying to understand how you do that that you implant such a glow and such beauty into a painting of a rather common landscape.... I love it!!!

Tom ,
Another one of your beautiful paintings . I love seeing the reference photographs as you infuse so much lovely colour into your paintings. Hope its not the last for a while.

Wow, very nice!

Part of me wants to darken the weeds on the right side of the water in the upper half of the painting, the ones in shadow, but that may be just my picky anal nature, so maybe you should just ignore me!

I love the drama of light in this piece,
Phil
