Hello --the forecast looks like it may be more like winter in the next week. This was likely the last plein air painting for time.. 16x20 on location (I did add some detail back home in my studio. comments and suggestions welcome.. thanks tom

Tom, this is beautiful. These are the colors that I am seeing and have not figured out how to paint. You have done this so wonderfuly. This painting is an inspiration for me. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Tom, What a great painting. That's a huge painting for a plein air. You must work really fast. Not only am I fond of the technique you used but the palette of colors you chose. Super job.

This is Stunning to me!!!! I am so glad that you posted a reference to the location, I am trying to understand how you do that that you implant such a glow and such beauty into a painting of a rather common landscape.... I love it!!!

Another one of your beautiful paintings . I love seeing the reference photographs as you infuse so much lovely colour into your paintings. Hope its not the last for a while.

Wow, very nice!
Part of me wants to darken the weeds on the right side of the water in the upper half of the painting, the ones in shadow, but that may be just my picky anal nature, so maybe you should just ignore me!
I love the drama of light in this piece,
