12 x 16 Atelier Interactive Acrylics - Palette Knife only application. Quickly painted wet into wet - Impressionistic with rusticity and a dab of abstract. Part of my French Cafe' Series (15-20 pieces) to be exhibited the month of March at a local Coffee Bistro in Santa Fe

Hi Dick!
As always great colors in the baked pears.. but I think the bold black lines is a little too much.. its distracting from your great colors. Just my humble Opinion!

Thanks Kathie. In the true fashion of French Impressionisim, they most always outlined the objects in black - in real life, the colors are much more dramatic-bright and bold then in the photo. If I can get a better photo, I'll send it to you.

Hi Richard,
It's wild! I'm intrigued by those bold black lines. Can you please give me some pointers, so I can read more about that style of impressionism?
Thanks,
NXH
