Double delight

.... wanted to play with phthalo green/alizarin crimson darks ... wanted to play with reds ...
Rose was done with the hansa yellow and indian yellow underpainting, glazed with permanent rose and then with quin red to get the depth.
Phthalo green is a a violent colour!:eek:

Might move on from roses :cool: ... though I should try a completely red rose first ... :rolleyes:
