Okay, I stashed the portrait of my son and his intended when they broke up, so as not to hurt his feelings, but then they got back together. In the meanst while, a hole got poked in the painting 'cause of the hurried stashing. Now it's back on the easel, so I can finish it. I figure I can back the hole up with cloth or something, and paint over it. Anybody have experience doing this?

Glenbob, Love your title. Sorry to hear about the hole in your canvas. Never experienced having to fix any holes in canvas but just wanted to say thanks for the laugh.:)
